Where to Begin?
The Program: 200 Hours
This training will give you all the tools you need essentially teaching you HOW to teach yoga. Not only will you learn HOW to teach yoga, you will start your journey into the philosophy and history behind this ancient practice. Educational highlights include: asana, pranayama, pre-natal, restorative, kid's yoga, meditation, sequencing a class, anatomy and more. This training is for those who are deeply committed to obtaining a quality teacher training or who wish to advance their yoga practice. If you’ve been practicing less than a year, please wait and apply next year. This training is for those who are serious about getting a quality teacher training only. Trainings will take place at YOUR HOME, at Core Balance Yoga or Radiant Yoga, depending on the module and depending on your location/needs. **Trainings generally take place in Lee's Summit on Saturdays and Overland Park on Sundays (subject to occasional change)

Dates below are for 2024/2025:
**Please note: you WILL be expected to primarily practice at either Core Balance Yoga Center or Radiant Yoga during your 8 months of training, in person or virtually.
2024 schedule of 200+ hour training
Hours: (hours AND dates subject to change, based on location, with prior notice)
Saturday 12:00pm-6pm at Core Balance Yoga and Sundays 11:00pm-6pm at Radiant Yoga. Actual times may vary by weekend to accommodate the studio's public class schedule. Attendance at all of these trainings, plus occasional weekend workshops will be required with dates TBA.

Please check the dates compared to your personal schedule. If you must miss all or part of a module, you will have to make up the missed module the FOLLOWING YEAR. You will receive your certificate upon final completion of the entire program. Please inquire if you have questions.
Investment
The early-bird cost for the 200+ hour KCYTT program is $2200. Deposit required prior to September 15th and program must be paid in full by August 15th to secure EB rates. For deposits or full payments after August 15th, the cost will be $2500.00. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space in the program. Other costs include: weekend workshops, outside yoga classes, and required reading texts.
Required reading: Please purchase and review prior to the start of training. Amazon is a good resource.
